How to Make Malaysian Typical Nasi Lemak

Tasty rice is delicious wrapped in banana leaves until it smells good. The portion is also quite filling. You can make nasi lemak with a side dish of sambal bilis using the following Malaysian nasi lemak recipe.

Material :
Savory Rice:
1 kg of fluffier rice, wash, drain
1 pandan leaf
1 stalk of lemongrass, bruised
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp salt
500-600 ml of thin coconut milk
Anchovies Sambal:
200 g dried anchovies, fried
1 tablespoon tamarind water
Seasoning, puree:
7 grains of shallots
4 cloves garlic
2 large red chilies
5 dry red chilies
1 small piece of shrimp paste
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 tsp salt
Complementary:
boiled eggs, halved
cucumber slices
fried peanuts
How To Make Malaysian Nasi Lemak:
Savory Rice: Place the washed rice in a rice cooker pot.
Add coconut milk, pandan leaves, bay leaves, salt and lemongrass.
Cook like cooking regular rice until cooked. Stir and then let stand in warm position.
Anchovies Sambal:
Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan, sauté the ground spices until fragrant and cooked.
Add tamarind water, stir until smooth.
Enter the anchovies, stir until well blended.
Serving: Put rice on a serving plate, add boiled eggs, ikan bilis sauce, sliced cucumber, and fried peanuts.
