Recipe for Making Chinese New Year Cake Baskets, Easy and Practical

Prepare 8 basket cake pans (@ volume 200 ml), line them with heat-resistant plastic or banana leaves.

Pour 200 ml of batter into each pan. Arrange the baking sheets in the hot boiler and cook for 2-2.5 hours until the dough is cooked. Remove, leave until not hot.

Cover the surface of the Basket Cake with a piece of glass plastic. Remove the cake from the pan, trim the edges of the remaining plastic until it is even. Serve immediately.(*)
